Exterity AvediaPlayer receive make TV and video channels available to analogue and digital TVs and AV display devices from a standard IP network (LAN). This eliminates the need for an expensive additional video cabling system, and picture quality is maintained, no matter how many users are added.

AvediaPlayer receivers may be used with both fixed and portable display equipment. An optional high-security mount provides additional protection for device and cabling in applications such as secure accommodations.

Exterity AvediaStream TVgateway, Transcoder and Encoder blades must be installed in one of three AvediaStream chassis (1, 3, or 10 slots), which are designed for a wide range of organisational needs and budgets. Encoded Video Over the LAN

AvediaStream Encoder blades create a single MPEG channel on your building, campus or metropolitan-area IP network from the output of various video devices. These include video cameras, DVD/Blu-ray players, digital signage systems, personal computers and even set-top boxes for premium TV channels. AvediaStream Encoder blades are available for both SD and HD MPEG encoding.

Live TV Over LAN

AvediaStream TVgateway blades capture live TV and radio to make the channels available to end-users over your building, campus or metropolitan-area IP network. Typically, a digital receiver connected to a terrestrial TV aerial (DVB-T or ATSC), a satellite dish (DVB-S/S2), or cable TV connection (DVB-C) supplies the signal to the TVgateway, which captures an entire multiplex of SD and HD broadcasted channels. It then streams these, simultaneously, as individual MPEG channels on the network.
